SLP Camaros My brother just purchased a 2001 Camaro Z28 SLP car. I was wondering if these cars are for real? Is there a such thing as a "factory" SLP car. I have been around LS1 cars for awhole and never heard of this. Just wanted to verify if it was correct. The Car is a pewter Z28 hardtop with long tube headers, high flow cats, cat back exhaust, strut tower bracer, bolt-in sub frames, SS style hood, air box lid, smooth bellows, and two toned interior with Z28 SLP stitched into the head area of the seats along with the SLP floor mats. If anyone can get back to me on this it would be greatly appreciated to find out if my brother got a rare car or a nicely modded car for a good price. Thanks in advance.

Do you know by chance what codes he should look for on the door? He has a build sheet he had pulled up from a dealership, would that have information on it. Thanks for all the help.
Just call SLP, they have all the cars that they put out on file. If it is infact an SLP car, they will have it on file. Just email vin number, or give them a call. I did it to get my productoin number. Good luck with that.
