He say's there's paperwork from the dealership stating it's an "SS". I really have no interest in the car, it only cought my attention because it's for sale in the city I live in. It just sounded like he did research on his car and basically called it a 1 of 1 car and I put it on this blog incase anybody my be interested in a "potenially rare" SS. He had it on Craigslist for $5,000obo and recent put it on Ebay.

Well, he does say that the SS badges were stolen and that the SS spoiler and replaced with a standard spoiler with the sport appearance package extension. That could be true, but if someone was going to steal SS parts, why leave the hood and wheels? The airbox also looks to be the standard Z28. Did they replace that too? I have my doubts on the car' s authenticity. I would be more convinced if he provided pics of the stickers on the doors with the Y2Y and SLP options.

I didn't think the Pegasus had a Ferrari engine. I've seen the car at the GM Heritage museum but the hood wasn't up and I don't remember there being any information about it.

Does anyone know how many 1994 Hennessey RS330 camaros were built? I may have just bought one without realizing it. I have determined there were articles in 12/94 Motor Trend and 7/95 Hot Rod Magazine (I've purchased the back issues, just waiting for them to arrive). Supposedly the car I just bought might have been the actual car in the magazine, but I'm not sure yet.

Also, does anyone know how many M6 hardtop B4C's were built in 1994? I have one of those too.

Any pics of the 87?
According to HPP that's what was done, but it was so well done that GM actually 'endorsed' it as real.

That's what I remember about the article anyway...

first off i saw that white ss and if its real that would be awesome to own, rebuild, and store. i mean ****, isnt a barn found 69 coverd in rust rust worth a shitload once restored. secondly id say that that 2003 trans am... needs to get off these pages... im getting tired of changing my pants from nutting every time i see it. thirdly i love how f-bodys options break down into a lot of 1 of w/e cars. I LOVE F-BODY'S! and finally... i own a 1998 camaro ss that is also 1 of 1, as no one else owns that car with that vin number and it puts a smile on my face to drive it every single time. (except when the clutch pedal sticks... lol)

I was curious where do you guys find this information?

I know by saying this it may be a little hypocritical, but it cracks me up when i see 1 of xxxx in X color and x tranny in a sig.

But it got me curious and I found that only 396 Trans am verts were made in 01 and I was wondering how many were SOM and of those how many were T-56.

Also the 97 only 1300 some Vert T/A's were made. But I have seen a few Blk ones. It was actually easier to find a WS6 but I did not want that look in the 93-97 F-body.

2001 total: 21436
Firebird 7191 coupe; 2347 vert; 9538 total
Formula 1037 coupe/total
Trans Am 2596 coupe; 396 vert; 7073 WS6 coupe; 796 WS6 vert; 10861 total
Interesting that more WS6s were built than non-WS6s in the later years ('00-'02). Although the WS6 'verts were technically T/A 'verts w/ the WS6 option. Thus the total T/A 'verts built in '01 was 1192, 796 of which were WS6s.

There was also the 1985 1C5 IROC Camaro. 500 were made in either red or black paint only. It was also called the California IROC because it was only available in CA. The 1C5 option deleted the hood scoops, rear spoiler and IROC stickers on the doors. The 1C5 gave the buyer a credit on the window sticker.

My 1996 Camaro SS came with the optional BFG R1 tires mounted on an extra set of SS rims (not installed on the car). Only 93 SS Camaros came with this option in 1996. In 1997, even less SS Camaros came with this option. I still have the original BFG R1s mounted on the 2nd set of SS rims. They have never been mounted on the car and still have the original tire stickers on them.

To me, both are a great topic for conversation, but not worth a premium price.

I'm curious if anyone has the production numbers for how many 1SC "stripper Z28's were built in 2002. I saw a guy on EBay with one for sale claiming they built less than 150. That sounded kind of low to me.
