According to SS himself we will probably never know the 02 SS numbers by option code. He also said that more than likely my 02, blk, SS, 1LE, Auburn, HT, A4, Leather is one of one. HA!

I don't feel dealer cars (Bergers, etc...) should be considered since they are rare because they were made to be rare. I feel we should look at the cars that are rare just because it just happened that way in production.
Just a few examples that there were no more than 100 made from the factory:
:opening my new Camaro White Book:
1998
239 B4C's but many rare cars in the single digits due to color and transmission options...
Only 99 1LE's (only 12 automatics, many of these are 1 of 1's due to color)
Only 50 Bright Purple Metallic Convertibles (only 14 Z28's)
Only 15 had a "non-standard paint color", whatever the hell that means
Only 13 Light Pewter Convertible Camaros (10 Z28's making the V6 more rare)
Only 12 B4C 6-speeds
Only 7 Sport Gold Metallic Convertible SS's
Only 1 Mystic Teal SS
1999
196 B4C's but only 1 Bright Blue Metallic Auto B4C and many single digit rare cars due to color and tranny combos
Only 74 1LE's (only 8 autos and many single digit rare cars due to color and tranny combos)
Only 57 Bright Blue Metallic Convertibles
Only 29 Bright Green Metallic Convertibles
Only 13 Monterey Maroon Metallic cars (only 45 that color total, painted that so it would be ready to go in 2000)
Only 5 Sport Gold Metallic cars built (color had to be carried over for a Days Inn promotion)
2000
230 B4C cars but only 9 Arctic White 6 speeds, only 6 Monterey Maroon Metallics (all autos) and only 4 Bright Red (all autos)
Only 11 Sunset Orange Coupes
Only 2 Sunset Orange Convertibles
Only 1 Sunset Orange SS Coupe and 2 Convertibles (1 auto and 1 6-Speed)
Only 1 Hugger Orange car (it was a convertible) due to the code being available earlier in the year
2001
288 B4C's only 1 Navy Blue and 1 Light Pewter Metallics that were 6-speeds and many single digit rare cars due to color and tranny combos
Nothing too rare... best I can find is only 234 Sunset Orange Convertibles only 37 of which were SS's with a 6-speed
2002
As far as regular production, even less rare... best I can find is 307 Sunset Orange Convertibles
13 Camaro Coupes had two-tone (police) paint
1 Sunset Orange Metallic Automatic B4C and many single digit rare cars due to color and tranny combos
I haven't even TOUCHED interior color combos or convertible top color combos but as you can see there are MANY rare combinations from the factory...
Only thing is, WHO CARES if it's the only Purple WS6 (re: ebay awhile ago), it's still just a purple WS6... Not too many people, which is why the cars MADE TO BE RARE (like the dealer cars) are also made to be VERY COOL but still lack that original rarity of a car that just accidentilly became rare...

No telling its value.........

Not 100% on these numbers:
98 - 226 all colors
99 - 176 all colors (last year in Canada) I know 16 were White
00 - 232 all colors
I'm likely off by one or two as I'm going by memory here.
One day I'll likely regret the mods I've done to mine.
