firehawk wing ok maybe this is a dumb question but why do some firehawks have the stock trans am wing while other ones have the low mount wing? was that a special option or something?
The IROC wing was standard on the 10th anniversary Firehawk (not available as an option in '01)
And it was an option in '02 (Formulas not included)
You can still buy them for $500 and simply unbolt the standard wing from the decklid and then bolt on the painted IROC.

IMHO $300 or less would be a fair price to paint a wing. Depends on what color is being painted also. Black is cheaper compared to sunset orange. You need to include prep time, materials used, and hourly rate.

Not all Firehawks are Trans Am based the Formula Firehawk only came w/lo rise spoiler the TA had a choice (stock TA spoiler or the IROC type) as stated in above post's.

Yep, and I've seen some LT1 Hawk Formulas w/ the "uplift" T/A spoiler, which was optional on some Formula-based Hawks. Also, there was the wierd "double-stacked" SLP spoiler that was an option on Hawks in '00-'01 I believe. Don't see those very often, probably because they weren't "popular".
