as its been mentioned earlier.......they do not come from the factory (SLP or otherwise) with that SLP badge on it. A previous owner put it on. I got a coupe of them that i never used when my SS was published in the SLP calendar in 2003 and 2004. They gave them to the winners. I didn't want to put it on cuz, it wasn't factory spec........and when I ordered my car, I checked off almost every SLP option on the list.
tell me....for those of you that had an SLP badge on their car when you bought it.......did you buy your car brand new or used? my guess would be used.

Yes, I ordered mine direct and it came with it already in place
Sounds like it's a 50/50 though
It doesn't make it any more valuable or not if it's in place.
BUT, don't lable a car if it's not.
If your Vehicle is equipped with SLP Options and is coded that way
Well then Feel Free to do so if you like.
Just don't be Posin'!

hmmm, i guess i have no clue what i'm talking about then.....isnt the first time though. My car didn't come with it on and several SS's that i've seen, dont have them on either, especially the 35 anniverary editions (even if they do have SLP options). I wonder why they would put them on some and not all? Sounds a little inconsistent for a factory warranteed car specialty company, dont you think?

If you all ordered them with the car there would be an RPO code or it would show up on the SLP build sheet, does anyone have have that? I am going to guess no since they are an aftermarket add on...

I have a 2000 slp ss & mine came with one from factory, bought it brand new at 18, but its different, it matched my ss badges and said engineering in tiny letter under the slp decal, I will try to find a pic, it got hit from the back, so I no longer have it on there an slp told me you cant get that anymore
