Back in the late '60's, folks didn't think that the Yenko's, the Motion cars, the Dana's, the Berger's and the Nickey's were all that special either but today they command high $$$$. Who is to say down the road the GMMG cars won't.
I believe GMMG is the modern day version of Joel Rosen of Motion Performance.
Make the comparison. Baldwin Chevrolet farmed its cars out to Joel Rosen of Motion Perfomance to make the Baldwin-Motion cars. What is so different about Carl Black Pontiac/Year One, Berger Chevrolet, Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet or Tom Henry Chevrolet having GMMG modify their cars.
I SAY AGAIN...............THIS IS JUST "MY OPINION".
As for me.................I am hanging on to my ZL1 which I ordered through Berger Chevrolet, the last remaining "Supercar Dealership". I have driven it "alittle". I have about 1,500 miles on it now. I take it to a few shows and enjoy talking to people about it. I enjoy going out to the shop and uncovering it and just staring at it or doing a little detailing on it. "Different Strokes for Different Folks" ya know.
You do what suits you best. Will it be worth a fortune some day? Who knows? There are alot of folks that have commented in this thread that don't believe it will.................but they don't own one and don't own yours either.
Good luck with your decision. You are "ONE OF THE FEW" that own a GMMG built car !

youre not going to drain its value by putting a few miles on it.. keep the fluids fresh and drive it everynow and then when you please or take it to shows and drive it only there.. that keeps low miles, people jealous, and retains value.. Document the shows with pictures etc and keep record of everything.
