Mods are Pacesetter LTs, ported TB, TSP true duals, 3600 stall, shiftkit, tranny cooler, SFCs, 3.73 gears, lid, and a tune. Putting 342/355 to the wheels. I had changed the fluid when I swapped the gears at about 80k. (bought the car at 69,500) And yes, I have gone to the track probably a doen or so times.

Based off of my own experience.
Auburn differential provides full torque figures evenly to both wheels, regardless of traction.

Torsen differential divides full torque between wheels, based off traction.

Auburn differential is for a road-coarse car that corners.
Torsen differential is for a drag car that’s fast in a straight line.
Auburn eats tires quick, regardless of how you drive.
My auto Torsen WS6 feels like a death trap liable to fly off the road at any flick of the throttle.
My T56 Auburn Firehawk hugs the road at any throttle position. Planted.
