Ws6 Without Emblems
#23
To answer ur question NO. I'd bet my WS6 that there was not a TA WS6 that was released without the badges. You have done the necessary research to confirm it by running the vin # as long as the dash and door seem to have not been tampered with your in good shape. As u probably know people like to removed those badges so u won't know what type of power their packin under that hood.

Not to worry there. I bought one without the WS-6 emblem on the back as well, and it is a true WS-6. If you have any doubt on what model you have, write down your vin number, and bring it into a Pontiac dealership. Ask them to run the spec sheet on it. They usually do it free of charge.

Or maybe look at the RPO sticker on the driver's door for "WS6", just a thought

It makes me sad. Just a bit off topic but my friend asked me, "what would you do if you had to live in a world without Pontiac?"
Well, immediately I thought what if Pontiac never existed what car would I have ended up with...
Then as I am pondering my answer he says, "because we are in that world right now!"
Ton of bricks -> me
Back on topic, the door sticker is the way to go to see if it's genuine.
Or use a VIN decoder website if your smartphone is handy.
