It only rained one day!!! . . . My LT4 got it's first bath EVER!!!
. . . Trailer was tucked in a corner detached from the truck, and I did not want to deal with a soaked car cover. It's only rain . . . they don't melt!
Too see the car in person, it is actually very hard to tell a LT4 from a LT1 30th Anniversary car. The ONLY exterior difference to 100% make it a LT4 car, is the "330 HP" decal on the tail. All LT4's were hard tops, 6 speed trans, and had the dual dual performance exhaust.
If able to look in the engine bay or door jambs there are more indications, on a LT4 conversion the intake will be red, and the passenger side door jamb sticker would also indicate the upfit. The LT4 designation is not in the VIN.
No, as stated that was the ZR1's LT5. The LT4 originally came in the 1996 Corvette Grand Sport.
Not sure where the made in America part comes from . . . SLP did all the up fits on all Camaro SS's not just the LT4.
J.D. yes all LT4's are hardtops. There were 100 made for the US and 6 for Canada. The LT1 hardtop 30th Z7D's also got stripes on the roof. Even T-Top cars got the white roof hoop and stripes on the hoop.
Here is a photo from the 2008 Superfest of the 30th and 69 pacecars present . . funny enough, both hardtops are LT4's in the pic!

The LT4 intake and heads are unique. And all LT4 intakes are bright red.

One good tip..........................all the LT4 cars were hardtops with stripes over the roof. To my knowledge...................no T-Top cars were manufactured with an LT4 and no convertibles. Aren't I correct Andy?
I have one of the LT1 cars but I wish it was a hardtop LT4 car like Andy's.![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)

While anyone without a very keen eye looking at the car would have a hard time discerning whether it was an LT1 or LT4 car, I would say most of the differences are internal or out of sight. Because of this, I wish they made the LT4 cars stand out more then they did, like maybe make all of them with the reverse paint scheme. JMHO. I do think, however, all of the little things that are different about this car is what is going to make it extremely collectible in the future. I know everyone is trying to buy one now in the high $20'sk, low $30'sk, I don't think that will stay that way for long.
As far as the engine, if you have one of the videos SLP provided with the car, they go in depth on explaining what went into the LT4 motor. It's pretty informative.

Yeah, but did you give it a tune-up! ![Secret2](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/secret.gif)
BTW - I wish my garage was that big. My wife added a bathroom to the downstairs so instead of telling me the builder just took the space out of my garage/work-room.

Yep................I'm sure it is hard not to drive it. But that's why your nickname is "Andy-the 59 mile guy" but I guess we have to change it now to the "80 mile guy".
