336 BGC '98 T/As built.

No BGC WS6s were built. GM didn't keep sequence #s (other than the VIN) on particular color cars. ASC assigned sequence #s on WS6s, but all colors are mixed together. Only way to know which one in the sequence of a particular color is, is to have the spreadsheet of all ASC#s (exists for only for colors OTHER than red/black).

A: No, it isn't. It is just a somewhat rare color, only offered for one year. In order to be "worth more" it would need to be a special edition or have a high demand and fan club. Rarity does not automatically guarantee desirability. For a car to be "collectible" it needs to be rare AND desirable. This color wasn't desirable at all when it was new, which probably explains why they quit selling them. Personally, I like the color, but most people didn't.
Problem is for lower-selling colors like green, gold, and purple... not everyone likes them... so it some ways it kinda hurts them.

Well, 2nd rarest color then, and rarest color for TA 'verts. Why does this seem like deja-vu?
