Value of an 01 SS?
Value of an 01 SS? Hey fellas i may be looking to sell my 2001 SS m6 in the near future, and im just trying to figure out how much a clean title 01-02 SS or WS6 is going for w/ under 60k miles on it and in good/mint shape. Im thinking 15.5kish? Autotrader is all over the place, however I know the market is down for our cars right now. Thanks for any advice in advance.
You could probably get $500-$1500 more for it if you hold off until the weather warms up... something to think about.
Hmmm, well i was aready planning on trying to wait until April before getting serious with it, and I am in Florida so the ttops should be a good selling point.

Start local first IMHO. When you say MOSTLY STOCK, will that affect DMV Inspection (transfer title) in your area?
Another consideration! I thought I read somewhere (opinion) that Firehawks would be 1-2K over T/A book. Again, not a statistical value anywhere. Although SS production was MUCH higher than the Firehawk, it should still have some relevance IMHO since it is a registered/documented vehicle .

nada is what dealerships use. but no where do they offer more money for SLP options do they? i thought i remembered only one box for SS package and thats it.
I would say $12K is a more realistic price, unless its a SOM car, and then I'd say $500-$1,000 over that. NADA and KBB aren't very useful. The prices only fluctuate about 3-5%for every 100K miles you add. They're only good when people selling cars want to justify their high asking prices. Although you want to get as much for the car as you can, you don't want to scare off prospective buyers with a high asking price. For a black or red SS, I'd say $13K would be a solid asking price and give you some room to negotiate.
1. its stock as in a k and n filter, exhaust tips, and a short stick. Im probably going to start at 15k and see where it goes. I treat this thing just like, no wait better than i do my gf!
