2002 35th Anniversary SS Limited Editions - Check in!
#202
Hi all. These are quite rare in the UK so I didn't hesitate when I got the chance to buy a 9000 mile 35LE. It's a M6 car, T-top, trophy mat, Traction control, Hurst leather shifter ****, 12 disc changer. The car is in great condition, the interior is like new. Only downside is some corrosion to front lower suspension arms and the rear axle housing. Having had a look at a few other cars I gather that this is not uncommon!
My plans are to restore these components to bring the car up to tiptop condition, I hope I can learn more about these cars from the other owners on here, how do I find out what build number the car is etc.? I figure it was one of the ones designated for the Canadian market because the speedo reads in KMs. The car came to the UK new in 2002, but was not registered until 2004 when it finally sold (the price new in the UK was £35K which was a big mark up over a standard Z28 and for this reason it did not sell straight away). There were at least two of these came to the UK as brand new in 2002.

Here's my 02 35th Anniversary SS #0907
Options include:
SLP Dual Dual Exhaust
Auto
T Top
SLP Bowtie Grill
I bought the car in horrible shape and brought it back to life.
This picture is once I got the car back into original condition, not perfect by any means but looks a ton better than when I purchased it.
How the car currently looks, no mods really besides LT and ORY. Wheels are just for show for now!

Well if everything I found is accurate, I too have a LE SS. I just picked it up a couple weeks ago. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I've seen a lot of conflicting information on actual LE cars, but the RPO codes checked out, SLP stickers (one on each door)
