i turned over 6,000 last summer on dad's, most of those were road trip miles up till last summer i hit a few cruise's, it went from OH to OK and back(2200+)when i graduated basic then we meet at memphis super chevy while i was on midtour leave in 06. other than those two trips, it has only been to local cruise in's. and still has the original paper air filter in it.

Default relatively new LE owner

Hello,

I bought my LE in Nov., drove it home and parked it in the garage. Will bring it out for the fist time, next week. Longest winter in my life. Info. about my car: 6-speed, t-tops, cd-changer, 345 hp SLP option with center mount exhaust, 5.0 shifter, Lou's short stick, BMR LCA's, UMI adjustable PHB, UMI 3-pt. SFC's, 160 thermostat, hypertech program, K&N filter, TB Bypass, skipshift eliminator,35th LE floor mats, 4.10 gears. I hope to take it to the drags on 4/12 for the first time and run some SCCA SOLO events this year as well.

I just bought a 35th LE Vert M6 with TCS, 12 Disc Changer, Hurst and SLP options: Bilstein, 345 HP with Dual-dual, Auburn Diff, Mats, Portfolio, Car cover and dash plaque...Picked her up with 790 miles on the odometer!

Anyone know where I can get a 35th Portfolio and two SLP SS key chains (fobs)? Thanks

Thanks guys...I went over to 35thLE the day I drove her home. Most people think I am nuts for not trailering a 790 mile LE (drove home 550 miles). However, the weather was perfect and I wanted to drive the car! I figured it needed a good drive anyway after sitting for so long. I am usually to picky and **** to drive my cars (last one only got 200 miles on it from me in a year and half) but I am tired of saving my cars for the next guy...this one is mine!

I don't think you're crazy at all. Drive it and enjoy it if you don't plan on putting it in a museum.

We took our's out of the garage for the first time in about 2 or 3 weeks today. We're up to 16k miles, and at this rate, it should hit 100k in about the year 2040.

Sidenote: A little girl in a babystroller was being pushed across the street by her dad, and we had the windows rolled down. She was yelling "Daddy! Daddy! Look at the pretty car!" and he said "Yes, it's fancy isn't it?" and she said "I want one like that some day!" My mom and I couldn't help but wave and grin ear to ear.

It was really nice because we were driving through an expensive neighborhood filled with Mercedes, BMWs, Lexuses, and Volvos. Good to see a little girl looking to stand out!

I want one sooo bad. I just saw one here at Charleston AFB. It was beautiful. Do y'all think the price will drop on these when the new Camaro comes out?

Well... I hope not! lol

If you're looking for a low mileage one, I think now might be an okay time to buy.

I gave $30k for mine a month ago and worth every penny...

Details: 35th LE Vert M6 with TCS, 12 Disc Changer, Hurst and SLP options: Bilstein, 345 HP with Dual-dual, Auburn Diff, Mats, Portfolio, Car cover and dash plaque...Picked her up with 790 miles on the odometer!

Oh, and now I have a complete 35th portfolio, extra SLP Camaro SS portfolio, extra SLP Camaro SS dash plaque and keychain set (unopened), extra set of SLP 35th Floor mats and a SLP 35th deck mat...I am stocking up on goodies.

I forgot, the original bill of sale for my car was $43k and some change which is the most expensive Camaro I have ever seen. I have owned several Fbodies but this one has the most options by far (GM and SLP). To me this is cool because it is a vert M6 and a 35th with all of those options!!!
