Hi Guys.
We can open the front of the scoop, upon request. There is no additional cost for this option. This will make the SS hood functional to draw in cold air, however, unlike the original, there is no direct chanel to dump the air directly into your air box. These hoods include the factory slp grills.
The 93-97 Sunoco style hood is 3" in height.

Smokedout - thank you for your order! We don't have a setup to where we can add the air channel to the hood. We can open the scoops and there is no additional charge for this option.

Ok. But unfortunately at this time, this will be the last time that I can extend the gp.
Lets end this GP on Friday, sept. 22nd at 4pm CST.
The non extended Sunoco hoods for the 98-02 are 3" in height.
The extended is taller at 6 1/2" in height.
