Hey guys, I have some bad news. PLX cant seem to make these things as fast as people are buying them. PLX claims it may be 2 weeks before they can ship the orders out.
I had no clue that this would happen and i guess they assumed that we wouldnt come up with the payments that quickly!

If anyone does not want to wait and cancel your order you can contact Kevin and he will remove you from the list.
BTW NO CARDS HAVE BEEN CHARGED and none will be charged until these things are ready to ship.

For the incoveince PLX has offered to give all members who are paying a discount on future PLX devices.

The good news is looks like we can get everyones to go out at the same time.

So does this mean we all have to wait? How many do they have to send out at this current time? I sent my payment in over the phone around #15 or so, but I can wait because my motor isn't even close to being done. It just seems odd to design a gp up to and beyond 50 sales and then not have enough product to back more then 30. It's not like we put in 100 orders at once. Is this a tactic to make sure we have 50? Wait two weeks to be sure? I'm just paranoid. Just keep us updated please.

NO tactic. I personally am in this GP
Kevin was processing the orders and thats when they informed him.
It will work out, just will take a little longer.
Guys if there is any reason you cant wait please call and get removed from the list.
I understand the frustration guys. I didnt put all this work into this thing for nothing!

Sorry DLH I didn't mean that it was a tactic of yours. I was just thinking they were telling you that to cover their asses before sending 20 or 30 at that price and then everyone else is a no show. No attack on you DLH. I appreciate the work you've put in.

I dont believe that would be the case, it was Kevins idea to ship out the first group after 20 payments.
Plus i doubt they would like to take a risk to loose a few orders.
I think they know that we can get 50 people to pay. Look how fast we got 32 and thats not inclucing todays payments!
I understand James, I would probably ask the same thing!
It was hard for me to believe that PLX could have their Widebands on backorder from the manufacturer that builds them. I guess bussiness is good! Its a great product at a great price.

Let me get this straight. You paid $350 for a wideband w/o gauge from Summit? I think you miss the point of a GP.

seems like they should have thought ahead on this as they knew we were going to be ordering 50 of them...they should have been getting them made ahead of time so they were ready...not very good business people over there must be since they are not planning ahead to keep customers happy.
