I can't remember if this was asked or not, can the Y pipe be ordered without the flattened sections or do they not really effect the flow much?
Oh yeah, since you seem to have a lot of 3" stainless pipe, can we also order a section of that to use as a I pipe? What would it cost for a polished section of that maybe 3 feet long?

Any word on LTx headers?
SSAutoChrome sells on Ebay, may or may not fit as well as these. Also, having installed more than a few sets of LT headers on LS1s, ANY header is going to have either or both of these problems: not tucked tight enough, poor ground clearance, and/or tucked too tight, clearance issues on the bottom of the car/kframe. Pretty much all exhaust needs a bit of 'tweaking' to fit its best. Anyone who has worked on an fbody recognizes our stuff is ALL packed in there with little excess room.
One comment about this is important: I personally drive mostly on the street, so I'd stay away from SOLID motor mounts, but I will say that POLY motor mounts can help with clearance issues, especially if your car has a few miles and is still on the stock rubber mounts.

I have a question about these headers, and its an honest question, not trying to knock the headers.
Were these headers designed from scratch by testing different flow designs, or were they copied from an existing header?
Either way is fine with me because the price is outstanding.
If they were designed from scratch, why no HP/TQ numbers?
Thanks

It's my fault there is no HP/TQ numbers. I used my own car to install the mock up headers on and cut and adjust them to fit then they used the mock ups to produce the finish product. I never did a before and after dyno to get numbers. I even offered a couple people buying them a discount to do a before and after dyno but neither one ever did.

Sorry all the Y's are already made. The only way we can keep cost as low as it is is to make a bunch of them at one time. We can't make on offs it would cost to much.
