Hey Guys~
Alex - Generally on a bolt on hood, c/f will shave off around 8-10lbs from the fiberglass hood - so instead of 25lbs, it would be 15-17lb. We can still knock off some additional weight for you on the glass hood - and get it around 20 (or a little under), upon request. There is no additional charge for this option, so it would save you $$ as well over what it would have been in c/f.
Stealth - checked on your order. It should be ready for shipping either the end of this week or early next.
LT1Formula - lol. If I had a Camaro, I'd run a Sunoco too - or the 3" SS - we have the 3" SS on the hubby's truck and it looks awesome!

Jeanie my sunoco looks awesome right out of the box. My question is you posted awhile back that you guys beefed up the sunoco's hinge area so I should be ok with my stock struts? it's the Z28 stuts also don't know if that matters. If you can respond soon I would appreciate it before I mount it next week. Thanks Jeanie.

Hi Guys.
Sorry for the delay in responding...was out of the office on Friday.
Because of this, I can hold over the gp until today - if you haven't had a chance to jump on yet.
Blwn1 - I'll send you a pm in a few minutes
Z28/2002 - We can knock some weight off the pin on, but because they're pretty light to begin with, it wouldn't be as much as a bolt on...but give or take 3-5lbs.
02Beast - Thanks for your order! You should be okay running the stock shocks. We have beefed them up to accept them, and install them on customers hoods when we do an install here at the shop.
However, there has been a small handful of customers that I have heard from that were concerned about the tension on their factory shocks. Because of this, I recommend "feeling" out the shocks and if there is too much pressure, sometimes a small hole can be drilled into the shock to release some of the pressure.
There was a great article Pontiac Hi Performance did about our ws6 hood and covered the entire install - right down to the shocks, but they do not have it on their website...but it was from last months issue, if you can pick it up
3.8 - Thank YOU for both orders!! Awesome!
Chevyls1 - we generally call our customers when the order is complete. But I will also make a note on the order to send you a pm so you won't miss anything.
Thanks guys!!
Jeanie

Hi Guys~
Matt, just sent you a pm
99blanco - I am sorry but we do not offer a stock SS style hood. There are quite a few companies that do, we wanted something that was completely different...so we worked with members on the forum to design the 3" SS.
