Eagle Rods are forged in China and finished machined in the US. They are the original knockoff of the Carillo. Carillo was the first to bring the H-Beam design to the performance market.

With that being said the Eagle Rods are ok for the money but they in no way are in the same league as the Carillo Rods (which 85 to 90 percent of everyone in Nascar uses). If you are looking for the very best in a steel connecting rod the Carillo's are definitely worth looking at.
