Fastmatt- sorry i missed your post but yes the carpet without the hatch area will work.

Unit- It is one solid piece of carpet with no cuts or slits. It is up to you to modify it for seats, councels, etc. if needed

I'll have to take the pics tomorrow night when I get back home. I havnt installed it yet since I'm going to have a roll cage welded in. I laid it out next to the factory carpet and you couldn't tell the difference as far as look, feel, and color. You do have to cut out holes for the console and bolt holes for the seat brackets. But no biggie.
