Does the Race bypass valve need any type of adjustment once installed or is it a simple bolt in?

It does not need adjustment, it does have a larger flange than what the Proflow bypass valve comes with, and this flange has to be welded to the systems tubing. When someone orders our complete system with our front mount intercooler kit, we weld this flange to the tubing. Thanks. Bob
