With a catback...you are pretty safe. You obviously void the warranty on the stock catback bacause you are replacing it. However, it really won't do much to the rest of the cars warranty because there isn't much else on the car that the dealer could say is affected by changing the exhaust. Unlike lets say a cam where you void the warranty on the cam, but they could really void your warranty on the entire engine because a new cam will affect EVERYTHING in the engine. I don't have too much experience with this as I have never had to bring my car in for service, so someone correcty me if I am wrong, but swapping exhausts is a pretty safe mod.

I think true duals will give you more hp, but I can't see it being more than 5-7rwhp over the GMMG and true duals tend to be much louder than even the GMMG. I'll add you to the list!!!

Since I was going to be ending up buying this exhaust pretty soon I'm glad that you are trying to put together a GP. And since I wouldn't be able to install it until probably after the winter it won't bother me much to have to wait if GMMG says to. :p

Guys it looks as if the GP is a go!!!!!!!!!! Heres the details on being included on the GP......

10 orders minimum. The GP will run from tomorrow 1/14/04 through Monday 1/26/04. We must have 10 money orders/checks by the 26th to make the GP a go. Please mark on your form of payment LS1Tech GP. Once we have 10 payments the exhaust systems will ship. If we do not recieve 10 orders we will contact the customers who sent payment and go from there.

Pricing will be 650.00 for standard tips and 775.00 with optional tips. This is 50.00 off the base system and 75.00 off the system with optional tips.

SkyTower, ya might want to start a new thread with this info.

Goodluck guys and thank you for the interest.

Nineball or PSJ, if theres any problem with this shoot me a PM, I know I have already taken care of Tony

This catback will NOT void your warranty as these catbacks are sold on factory cars that include a full warranty from GM..

I have seen a back to back dyno on the GMMG and a true dual setup and there was no power difference...

Well, I guess since you're a Georgia company and I'm the Dawg's #1 Fan living outside of Athens, I can live with that!

00Z28Convert - 1) you can absolutely get in on the GP. Just check out this link https://ls1tech.com/forums/sponsor-sales-specials/128916-gmmg-group-purchase-go.html for all the official info. Don't forget to mark your cashier check or money order with "LS1Tech GP" to get the pricing.

2) Depending on the size of the tips , you may be able to clamp them right on like the tips that come with it. If they are different sizes, you could have any exhaust/welding shop put them on for you. Shouldn't be a big deal.

Welcome to the board and let me know if you have any more questions!!!
