Kudos on starting to get some pub to the shop, and actually being there to help.

PS Chris did you get my PM about a buddy I have that wants to get a qoute from you on a motor buildup for NOS? If not let me know.

I had no idea that nobody ever heard of my car.

No I dont think Toms car was overlooked, its just not all over the boards like some others that post all the time here.
No need to get disgruntled Tom, I was just stating that alot of the board surfers may not be familiar with APE, they may be familiar with someones car but not who actually did the work, and in the past APE has not made themselves very known throughout the boards like they are doing now.

PS Chris I sent you an email at that addy.

His cousin whom i know is driving my car back up to michigan on the return trip where AP-E will begin the tear down/ install / tune. Im also replacing the Ypipe, catback, fuel system and adding a 12 bolt. Its going to be a who new car. Those JPR heads should shine. You have the HVLD design ones?
Yeah it is the HVLD design. I think they are a good set up heads but we'll see. Good luck on your setup and I cannot wait to see how it goes. Its almost too bad I dont need new heads or I could justify the cost of that 408 they are selling. So far APE has really kicked some *** in the customer service department, I cant wait for the stroker. Thanks again APE!

I'm sure they've got plans in motion to change the familiarity/education issue about APE...there is alot of knowledge behind those walls!

I'm not a customer yet, but I just got off the phone with Chris . . . very friendly and knowledgeable, and definitely the quickest to respond back!!
FWIW, I had made a post in the FI section about needing a forged shortblock . . . and I made calls/emails to some of the more-well-known sponsors. NONE of them got back to me on their own, I had to chase them down. Chris saw my post and PM'd me . . . now THAT is going after the customer! Very impressive indeed. I plan on ordering my motor from them very soon!

I have had excellent responses and customer service from Brian at AP Engineering. He has replied quickly and given me the exact information I was looking for. As soon as my house is built and I settle on the home, I'm calling them for a nice build up for my 30th TA.
