I had my CMS opti installed over the weekend. Car has been sitting for about 6 months since the last time it fired. Once we got the CMS opti in there, we hooked up the battery, harness, and coil and the car fired right up. Sounded a little weird without my blower, but the point is the car started right away.

Put everything back together, let the car idle while I bled the cooling system, then took it for a test drive. Car runs great and starts up each and every time without any issues. Hopefully this continues for the next few years since my car doesn't see the road too much. Otherwise, a bargain of a deal for what appears to be a quality product.

Lots of DOA opti's...I don't expect his product to be on the market all that much longer.
Regardless of whether it's the "most inexpensive" opti out there or not...your product needs to be dependable, AT LEAST for first startup. Longevity or not...DOA is NEVER acceptable.

Bump. My opti went out and I just found this thread. Seems to me that this isn't where I want to get my new opti from. Can anyone confirm? If there's a 50% chance of DOA then I don't see the point of bothering with this company.

Unit came within 2 days of ordering....Installed on the LT1 today with a new set of MSD wires ...Fired right up, took a highway trip and a few WOT pulls and it didn't miss a beat. They also responded to any questions I had through Ebay messaging within 24hrs. Great service lets hope it lasts

Thought I'd revive this one. I had my car brake down 75 miles from my house because of the cap and rotor CMS sold me. It's been less than a year since i bought it, and it should have a 1 year warranty. The rotor actually disintegrated inside of the cap...costing me 150 bucks in a tow to my uncle's house and another 100 in gas to go pick the truck up on the trailer. I've contacted CMS about the problem, we'll see if they stand by their product and get back to me.

Update:

Got an email back from Nick today after sending the email saturday, so good return rate on replies. He said he's going to send me another cap and rotor, so hopefully that is that...gotta say i'm not seeing these issues people are having with customer service, so far Chandler has been great!

Rolled 4,000 miles on my CMS opti yesterday on Woodward.

For the 90 bucks I have into it...I couldnt have did any better.

Mine has seen the 6000 rpm rev limiter a few times, handled it like a boss.
