They front and rear need no bracing. The sides are not not drop-in. There is some trimming required and they typically need some bracing.

Do the rear ones seal up just as well as factory rear windshields? Im assuming there is no rear defrost? I may be interested in the future.

We have not had any sealing issues that i am aware of. As far as defrost, there are not any wires built into the speedglass. They have a coating on them to help with fogging.

weight savings for side windows? are they able to roll down or are they in a fixed position?

The sides are just like a typical lexan window. They will require some modification/trimming to work they are not meant to roll down per se.

so let me get this strait the front windshield speedglass is DOT approved now?? I need to replace my windshield anyways since it got cracked im very interested.
