Awesome, isn't it?![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
This whel is wrapped in genuine Alcantara(R) Charcoal (color code 9002). When wrapped in leather it will be even thicker (Alcantara is much thinner than leather)![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Important thing: the padding foam does not come glued to the leather as a backing. It is separate and needs to be glued to the steering whel first and then wrapped in leather / Alcantara / other material. To make the process easier the foam is self-ahdesive![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Next week we'll publish a write-up on how to apply padding foam onto the wheel.
Like it? Want it? Get it!
Have a great weekend guys.

Do you happen to have a pic of a T/A wheel done in the Nappa Smooth/Perforated with xtra padding?
This is what I've been looking for - would like to see how far up the sides you extend the perforated (prefereably just a short distance past the upper spoke and before the wheel 'bump outs')
Do you use a black padding material for under the perforated leather - hate to be able to see white padding thru the perforations...
My dd is a BMW with that lovely xtra thick M3 wheel done in Nappa - when I go from BMW to T/A it feels like I'm steeering the T/A with a noodle
