*** special deal on new hood. Limited quantity of 3 *** Hello all! This is a short introduction of who we are, and what we do. As one of VIS Racing's master distributors, we will pass on the best deal's anywhere on all fiberglass, carbon fiber, and polyurethane parts from their product line. PM for pricing, or shop around for a price (must have website link or PM of the part and price to forward to us), and we will BEAT that price! Since we work closely with VIS Racing, local pick up's are recommended direct from their warehouse to save you on shipping, and you can count on fast and well packaged shipping, since we drop ship all items straight from their facility.
For those of you who may not be familiar with VIS Racing, they have their roots in the aftermarket auto parts industry established since 1996, and have a long standing reputation for their quality and extensive product line. Their parts have gotten even better after over 16yrs of manufacturing.

All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks are manufactured using a two-part construction design: the top layer is a 100 percent ISO certified Grade A carbon fiber material with an ultra clear UV protective polyurethane coating to ensure a high gloss finish. Up on special as of today is a discontinued VIS Racing hood for the C6. We have 3 of these, and while we personally like the style, we must advise that VIS gave us a special on these last remaining hoods because the fitment is a hit or a miss.

Sorry about that My6SpeedZ. We spoke to VIS about that, and they said it could've been from them updating the site over the weekend. We checked and it seems to be working fine, but many times we will use the drop down menu towards the top, instead of the tabs on the side. If you need assistance with anything, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Do you guarantee the fitment of these hoods? I ordered the C5 heat extractor from a different vendor on CF and both hoods that were sent to me fit like ***. I don't know if these come from the same manufacturer but I dont want to deal with that headache again. Are these hoods test fitted before they ship?
