no problems with the "r" lifters. not sure about clearance issue with the 977 springs, I'll see what I can find out for you and let you know.

I beleive that you have to run shims with the comp r's since the HS's are non adjustable.

Thanks just shoot me a PM when you get a chance DEEZ98Z, yeah i was told by Jay @ A/S to run shims and he said he would send them to me with my new heads

Cool... that is going to be my set up here soon too... when I put on new heads I am going to put in my comp r's and HS's. Could you let me know how much you had to shim them when you get them?
