Cutouts are one of the more popular items we sell. It is fun to have the aggressive open tone, and quiet closed sound.
As many of you already know, we have sold DMH for a long time. They make a great cutout, and we will continue to offer their product. That said, we lose a lot of sales because people do not want to wait 8 weeks for them. We have address this repeatedly with DMH, and it has not gotten better. Because of that, we needed an alternate product to offer for customers who cannot wait that long.
As such, we have now added QTP cutouts to our lineup. These low profile cutouts have been on the market for a while now, and have a good reputation. The one caveat with them is they have a 90 day warranty vs. the 4 years DMH offers. However the warranty process is smoother, and out of warranty you can get the motors fairly easy. Also, the have a wireless option,
They are for sale at the link below. We recommend adding both the turndowns, and the wireless controller for the best experience. These cutouts weld fine on both 2.5" and 3" piping. If you have questions, feel free to call and ask.
