Not happy with my center console and would also love that button delete.

Couldn't find your website. Would order asap with Firehawk bird embroidery.
Send some pics via email so I can see what you have and we'll go from there. No website yet. In the works.

I'll try and get some daylight pics and short video clips tomorrow so you can see the texture of the leather. Stitching and embroidery should be easier.

IF it ever stops raining lol.

Website is in the works. It'll be oriented around my aircraft biz with sub sections of auto. Let me know on your order, thanks.

GM wasn't interested in putting the best materials into a lid because it would add to production cost. So, yes I would say better quality all the way around. Heavy duty? My 5 year old used the first one I ever made, as a step to get out of the back seat for 8 months. Never broke so, it should last a long time when used properly, like an armrest.

Very cool guys. Any thoughts in attempting upper dash pads in a similar fashion? would probably sell those at an alarming rate

The lid in the first post is actually Ebony. The console has been sprayed black so, there is a slight color difference. ComeNgetme has a true black lid.

The underside is finished in a black felt. The base/structure is a formable type plastic. The foam is molded, high density. This is where GM got cheap on us, it just breaks down over time.

The upper dash part is a difficult animal in it's self. It would be a vacuum form type reproduction, I would think. I did reinforce and covered mine in 1/4 in. closed cell foam with covering and it turned out nice. Just need it to be somewhat intact which is pretty much the deal breaker.

This is foamed before material. Fiberglassed the snot out of the back side.

I received mine and installed within 15 minutes of opening the package. It's an amazing look, and I actually do agree on the lack of the latch, it really classes it up! It's very light, so I find myself going easy on it as far as leaning or putting weight on it. But yes, an outstanding piece and well worth the money!

I am glad you like it!!! Don't let the light weight fool you, it's a little more durable than you would think.
