I'm debating the purchase... 600.. how's the noise inside the car? loud? or background? just above background.

I have a flowmaster setup on mine and its not bad. the internal sound is at a nice level.

$600 is a steal, considering $700 is normal and this is the lowest the price has been and probably ever will be. The noise inside the car is very tolerable, infact, the Firehawk I rode in that had GMMG, I actually liked the noise. My LM gets to me because of the drone and the GMMG had no drone, just a bad *** noise. It sounds great, and the people I know with GMMG dont use their radio most of the time just so they can hear the exhaust, its that damn sexy.

GET RID OF THE FLOWMASTER! It flows barely better than your stock muffler. Thats why in the LS1 community its known as blowmaster, chokemaster, etc. Sounds good, in its defense, but flows TERRIBLY.

LT1 first

I didn't have much choice. bought the Z used. had the flowmaster on it already.

I'll be using my full aftermarket radio even with the GMMG!

Ohhh.....GMMG sounds insane on an LT1.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, the LT1 system uses the same muffler, so its still a crappy muffler. GMMG would be a nice improvement.

Didn't know you guys were site sponsors.

We installed a GMMG on a customer's car this week. Very good quality system that sounds great!

GMMG is in the process of becoming a sponsor. This GP was permitted and they asked permission before hosting it.

Ron, send me a banner to put up or I'll post the pic of you humping the ZL1
