i believe his thousand dollar projects are his new lt1 intakes he is fabbing up. i believe the sell for 2-3 thousand. go check out camaroz28.com and do a search , i believe thats where all his time and effort is going.

If thats true, then why would he be burning bridges with the LS1 guys as well as some other vendors

Those are some damn nice intakes. Bret Bauer knows his **** that is for sure.

Yeah, the custom intake is taking alot of his time. I had good dealings with Bret about 3 months ago (custom cam and valvetrain). I also know he has been too busy to reply to my boss's emails (my boss wanted a cam spec'd).
