A. I drove 16 hours (slight detour) to the Southern Shootout last year and am doing it again this year so at least 1000 miles or so.

B. Definitely a 2-day event, you just can cram enough f-Body's into one day!

C. Turnout! (Beer and Women come a close 2nd, but they're everywhere.)

A. What is the longest distance you would drive to attend an LS1 event? (miles)
For us that all depends on money and having to take time off or work and my answer to question C

B. Would a 2-day event/gathering be better for you vs a 1-day event?
Yes, but I can do either.

C. What would be the most important thing for you to attend an event?
(Speaking as a racer and not a spectator) a good payout doesn't hurt, good attendance (more competition), location (a good track known to hook and produce good times). Really as long as we can make the drive and there is a class for us to race in then we will be there.

1. 500 Miles (Any more and I would rent a trailer)
2. 2 Day event, so people can go out and party, instead of taking off imediatly to get home
3. Vendor Displays, wide selection of events (Just got back from the National F-Body Gathering and liked the variety)

A. What is the longest distance you would drive to attend an LS1 event?

I drove 500 miles to an event earlier this year. It wasn't that bad of a drive. So, I would say... 600 miles would be max.

B. Would a 2-day event/gathering be better for you vs a 1-day event?

Depending on how far the drive is. If it is about 300+ miles, I would prefer a two day event. If it is less than 300, 1 or 2 day is fine with me.

C. What would be the most important thing for you to attend an event?

A good crowd would be an important thing for me to attend the event. Being able to meet a lot of new people is one reason I would attend an event, aswell as to see a lot of cars.
