Thumbs up '00 Hawk Video Posted on LS1Sounds.com

Hey guys - I got in on the last GP, installed it on New Year's Eve day, made a video, and sent it to Chad at LS1Sounds.com

Mine is the fist one listed under GMMG now - '00 Hawk - it is a 16MB video, and is slow to load, but worth the wait - I think! The video doesn't do the sound justice at all, but gives you some kind of idea! Good luck on the GP - thank's Chad!

I'd be down for a GP on this stuff, but again, I wouldn't be too anxious to see one before March/April.

Yes, it is a TR cam. I bought it a couple of years ago, when not everyone was good at tuning a LS1 and the 224/224 was having idling problems and wouldn't meet emissions. I lived in Texas at the time and didn't want to have problems getting it tested, so I went with the 220/220. It was a good choice back then and I still love it!

This is from TR's website:

Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft - 220/220 .551/.551 114 LSA 1500-6500 RPM Power Band. Computer Tuning Required with automatic transmission cars. A very well balanced camshaft that makes excellent power across the entire RPM range. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended!

I will send Chad another video when the weather warms up!

That's like 30 people! Where's GMMG? They need to get on the ball.

I'm in also. Ready whenever!

Guys, GMMG sells their exhaust setups like crazy regardless of GP or no GP. They just offered one in November, I'd look towards March for the next one at the soonest unless Cammin BeaSSt feels generous and offers another one sooner. BTW, I am in no way affiliated to GMMG, so no this isn't inside information. Just a somewhat educated guess.

So I guess my question to all who said they're intersted is, will you wait to spring and see if he'll launch a GP then? We've got the people but the patience may be a different story. So who's going to wait?

What are the ways you can pay for the exhaust, on the GMMG website it says that you can't pay with credit cards. I know that paypal is an option but are there any other? Thanks

Cool

Count me in on the next GP from GMMG. I read on one web page where a guy got his group purchased chambered exhaust with the oval tips for $730. That would be sweeeet!! Ron, please give us a great deal on a great exhaust system. Sorry, I couldn't wait. Mailed the cashiers check today. Warm weather is right around the corner and I can't wait to get it installed and get on it with the t-tops out.
