Hey Tom.

Sent you an email a couple days ago about my order and haven't heard anything back so I thought I'd post up on here.

Back on the 31st I placed an order with ya'll for a Strange 12 bolt and was told that ya'll are no longer buying back the backing plates after swapping out the rear ends. I saw today on your website that it is still listed as an option for those of us with 3 channel abs rear ends. I'm just wondering if ya'll just haven't gotten around to changing it on your website or what?

Also when can I expect to hear from the trucking company for how much it's going to cost to ship that rear end so I can make arrangements with the shop I am sending it to? Thanks again,
Kris

I think that was sent on Friday? I forwarded it to have someone here look into today. We still do the core exchange but there aren't any available at this time. It looks like you might have talked to Carol about this. That was the info that she gave out.

We don't have any firm shipping numbers for the rears. They can range from $125. to a little over $250. The trucking company will call a few days ahead of time to set up the delivery. Yours should ship around the end of this month.

Thanks for the ultra quick response. I wasn't sure if my email had made it through or got lost in cyberspace. Carol was very helpful and friendly when I placed my order. I was just curious about the exchanges when I saw they were still on your web site. Thanks again for the help,
Kris

What exactly would you need to do to get the stock driveshaft to work with the 1350 joint? Someone told me that there is just a converter piece that you can get from Autozone for ~$15, that true. Can you get the rears with t a joint the size for the stock driveshaft or only the upgraded one. Could anyone give me a ballpark idea of what it would cost me to ship my axles and plates to Strange from Indianapolis? I'm just trying to get an idea.

The rears include a conversion U-joint that will adapt your stock driveshaft to the 1350 yoke.

The shop I had mine shipped to told me mine arrived yesterday, just under 4 weeks. Came as a surprise since the trucking company never called me to set up the delivery. Sure am glad there was someone at the shop yesterday to recieve it.

He never said and I forgot to ask. I just went by what Tom had told me earlier this month.

I paid the shop $250 about 2 weeks ago to cover the shipping. I guess it was enough. I'll find out in the next couple days for sure.

Any chance that you will be doing this again anytime soon? I am in need of this, but won't be able to round up the funds for a few weeks. Breaking the tranny and rear on the same pass has really F'd up my $$ situation
If you are'nt plannin another sale soon, what is your normal price on them?
Thanks!
