Hey guys,
I'm running one of AP's 3.0inch chromoly shafts in my car. It has went several low 1.5 60ft times without one problem. There are also two local guys here running them in H/C 6 speed cars without a problem. There ISN'T a better deal out there on a quality chromoly shaft that can take loads of abuse!

Hey gomer! You've been around here a long time, I used to read all your Patriot threads.....right?

Glad to see you endorse this DS, and are still in the game! 11.1 ET huh, way cool! You got any suspension mods?

Stock everything except for a set of cheap tubular LCA's and a BMR torque arm. I've took a bunch of weight out of the car since the 11.1x.. I just need to make it to the track to run some 10's.

My car is set up like yours, so I'll surely need this driveshaft. How'd you do it? Sticky track? I have slightly more power with MT DR's. 'Have not been to track yet. Should I wait?

(Clever way to bump this up, eh?)

Ya sticky track, some et streets, and a 6K dump. Id say just get one now that way you can sell your stocker also if you dont already have one get a ds loop

Shoot, I was going up this Friday, wish me luck. The one irony is that we have a huge issue with track prep and lack of traction at Moroso.

Rob, what's the turnaround time once we get payment and measurements to you? Do we have 5 yet?

edit: Hey where'd the dude go?

OK guys. 'Talked to Chris, lets give him our CC#'s, he's ready to roll these out with a 1-3 day turnaround.

I'm going to say "scru it" and order a stock replacement. I don't want to wait to get the car on the lift. Chris said he would minus 1.5 inches, since I have a Strange 12 bolt.

Can the guys with 12 bolts post up the measurements you are coming up with - from trans seal to rear u-joint center as Chris stated? And the guys with a stock ds that fits - what does that measure? My car is in storage....
I want to be sure I'm in the right ball park.

Mine and the two other local guys that have gotten the DS's needed about 1.5 inches shorter than stock. I'll measure mine when I get home tonight and post up the length.

What teamwork, thanks gomer. Strange = Moser as far as measurements, right?

I'm calling my CC# in first thing tomorrow. Going to the track Friday. Hopefully I can get the stocker thru the night. These MT DR's seem very unforgiving.

Meh, Moroso never hooks...

Ok, I just went out and measured. My AP drive shaft is 39.5in from the center to center of each U joint hole. The overall length from the end of the rear U joint to the front of the slip yoke is 46in. By comparison, I have a stock aluminum DS and it is 41in from center to center on it, so my AP shaft to fit a moser 12 bolt with 1350 yoke is 1.5in shorter than a stock shaft. Hope that helps. If anybody needs more measurements or pics, just let me know.

Thank you very much!
I saw a Dennys HD alum. for a 3d gen with 12 bolt and a 1350 front yoke - guy said was 41" too.
Must have had it made to stock size rather than measure.
My question is did you have your stock ds in with the Moser using a x-over joint?
Was it too long?
1ScrudeDude is using his with a Strange...I wonder why it would not push into the tailshaft if it's 1.5" too long?
Can you get a pic of your custom shaft in the trans as it sits with car on the wheels? To see how much yoke is out of the trans vs. a stock ds?
