Count me in too. Sounds like fun.

Plus I have been wondering what code I am throwing.

Steve.H. and knwilson:

You'll need to pay the $99 via PayPal to: sales@myscantool.com prior to the end of the month. See the first post in this thread for full details.

Thanks!

Will this work on Australia GM-Holden cars equipped with OBD-II LS1's? Or do I need a different diagnostic interface?

Thanks.
OK, just about sold, but..... how does Pro Scan collect twice as many data points as other OBD-II analysis tools? Is not the scan/report rate of the sensor info written to the OBD-II bus defined by the OBD-II standard and is set at a constant rate? So if you poll twice is fast, is not data going to be only half the time?

Now if you scan/read the same data points as any other OBD-II scanner, and then interpolate the in between database points that is fine. What kind of algorithm are you using do it?

Hi,
If the car is OBD-II compliant... YES... it will work.

Thanks,
David

ProScan does not claim to achieve higher bandwidth than other tools. The claim that I made was that ProScan is able to collect twice as many data points for the DYNO tool. Most OBD-II dyno tools continuously poll two sensors, RPM and Speed. A dyno pull is performed in the same tranny gear... therefore ProScan calculates a drive ratio for the dyno gear that it uses to calculate Speed from RPM. Therefore, ProScan only polls for RPM and calculates the speed from the RPM values. This is how ProScan collects twice as many data points as other tools. There is just a little bit more work involved to determine the drive ratio.

Thanks.

Only two people have taken advantage of this group purchase. Therefore, here is what I'm going to do... If you want ProScan at the group purchase price, pay for it via PayPal as instructed in my first post by April 10. On April 11, I will ship out ALL paid ProScan orders... regardless of the number of sales.

So if you pay by April 11, you are guaranteed to receive it at this unbelievable low price!

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT I WILL BE OUT OF THE COUNTRY UNTIL APRIL 10... SO QUESTIONS WILL BE UNANSWERED UNTIL THEN. I APOLOGIZE.

Thank you!
