Its approx. the same length. Our stick measures 6.5", but has enough threads on it that you can cut another 1" off if ever needed.

My opinion is it is short enough, but just incase.

All Residential deliverys automatically ad $1.40+ to every package. We ship UPS as well and not USPS. All items have small handling charges (Boxes, envelopes, packing material, paying someone to pack it all cost money)
