I emailed LME and APE about a price on a shortblock but I havent gotten a response from either yet

Best in terms of $$$ or best in terms of handling power? If your talking about the later then Wheel To Wheel Powertrain, hands down.

I just want the best deal $$$. I want the best bang for my buck. I dont want to worry about the motor messing up. Will most likely be a N/A motor till I have the funds for a power adder but I want the option of going FI if I want to down the road. Right now money is the biggets hurdle and I have heard alot of good about LME and APE as well as W2W.

before i bought my block from ape a few weeks ago, i was calling different sponsers. one of the firt places i called (LG motorspots) wanted $5,000 for a forged LS1. We go to talking briefly and he said they can put together anything so i asked about just getting a 346 with piston and rods, he put me on hold for a few minutes and came back with 5 grand!

$5,000 for that???????????? thats a bunch of BS if you ask me. A buddy of mine built his own short block for $1000 with the best pistons, file fit rings, and bearing. it to about 3 hours to put together. really and trully it was a joke

Lme

I went with LME and I know I won't regret it, it is costing around $5,000, but that is with Manley pro I beam rods, Wiesco 25cc dish turbo pistons, and hell fire rings, GREAT customer service, best choice I ever made.
