Default GM Truck Turbo Kit Special Spring Pricing

Spring is almost here so we're running a discount on the Detroit Speedworks 4.8-6.0L Truck Turbo Kit.

Here is a video one of our customers supplied us after installing the kit on his Escalade EXT. The only modification is the turbo kit at 5 lbs. of boost. Everything else down to the exhaust is bone stock.

Look at the AWD Torque Steer!

This kit is complete and includes:
  • Polished Garrett Turbo
  • Black Powder Coated Inlet Tubes
  • Black Satin Ceramic Coating on Hot Parts
  • 42 lb Injectors
  • 3 Core Air-to-Air Intercooler

Dual 4 into 1 Tubular Headers w/ 1 5/8" primaries, 1/2" Laser Cut Header Flanges, 2 1/4" Cross Over, 3" Down Pipe, Powder Coated Inlet Tubes, All V-Band Connections, High Quality Silicone hoses w/ Aircraft Grade SS clamps, Tial 38mm Billet Wastegate, and complete detailed instructions.

* Bolt-on Installation; NO SHEETMETAL CUTTING OR WELDING required! Works with factory electronics.

The Battery, A/C, Power Steering, ABS, etc.. remain in the factory locations, so you could put your car back to stock, very easily at any time.

Pricing will be $4,995.00 for the kit. We recommend a shift kit which would add an additional $300 to the cost of the kit.

The turbo is a GT-37 with a custom exhaust housing, however upgrades are available.

We've seen decent gains with the kit on the Escalade at only 5 lbs. Stock it ran 16.8 @ 80 mph and with 24 inch wheels and a lot of heavy stereo equipment it ran 14.2 @ 94 mph.

Below you will find photos of the kit installed on a 2003 Cadillac Escalade

It's definitely fun, I drive the black shop truck with the kit on it quite a bit and it's pretty quick for a tank

Rick LeBlanc,

This kit is complete and includes:
[*]Polished Garrett Turbo[*]Black Powder Coated Inlet Tubes[*]Black Satin Ceramic Coating on Hot Parts[*]42 lb Injectors[*]3 Core Air-to-Air Intercooler

Dual 4 into 1 Tubular Headers w/ 1 5/8" primaries, 1/2" Laser Cut Header Flanges, 2 1/4" Cross Over, 3" Down Pipe, Powder Coated Inlet Tubes, All V-Band Connections, High Quality Silicone hoses w/ Aircraft Grade SS clamps, Tial 38mm Billet Wastegate, and complete detailed instructions.

-----All of the above is included in the original kit for $4995.99 correct?
-----Would this fit an '04 GMC VHO (LQ9 6.0 HO), engine almost the same as the EXT and Caddy.
-----Do you have any authorized dealer/installers in the Dallas,Tx area?
-----Can you upgrade to a GT-67 turbo? How much extra would it be?

I was seriously looking at getting an STS, but not to sure about the rear mount style.

Thank you for any information,
Caylon

Caylon,

You are correct, everything mentioned is included in the kit for $4,995.00. This kit fits any 4.8, 5.3, or 6.0L Sierra, Denali, or Escalade.

The only thing not included with the kit that we do recommend is a shift kit to save the trans. This sells for $300.

We don't have an authorized dealer/installer in Texas, however the installation is straight forward and has pretty good instructions so any performance shop should be able to install the kit for you.

A GT-67 would require a different flange, however for example you could use a GT-40/67 and it would be a about a $500 upgrade.

Thank you for your interest

Sent you an email! Thanks

Mike, we don't have a turbo kit for the 8.1, but there are some S/C kits out there for them. You can call our sales guys at 313-561-5500 for more info and pricing.

Thank you

Will this kit work on an Escalade with 91 octane pump? That's all we get out here.
