Default cam GP

anyone doing a cam GP soon? With all the cams breaking over 350-400bucks lately, i was wondering if someone could break the 2xx range for a GP

good luck on that one. FMS's cams have a VERY interesting grind pattern throughout the entire specs(.006, .050 .200, etc) and the Cam Motion lobes help make those cams what they are. You'd have a tough time duplicating those cams and have them perform as well. This is coming from Allan as well as ppl who have independantly cam dr'd some of Allan's cams. Take it FWIW.

i dont think anyone wants to copy a cam.. they just want a vendor to give a good GP price on their cams:-P

i know everyone has there own specs and etc, but ill be happy with about any 206/212 cam lol

I have a F11 cam for my car since Allan seems to know his stuff.. i'd love for them to do a big GP on cams.. dunno if they have for awhile or not?

if not, then comp and other cams would work for me anyway also

Has futral ever done a group purchase on their cams. I am waiting to pull the trigger on one of their cam packages and this would put me over the edge!

they did a HUGE GP on their cams a few months ago. it was HUGE, rock bottom prices. they were selling cams for 340, whole kits including pushrods for 690. i wouldn't expect another GP for a good while. their cams sell either way its kind of like GMMG in that respect.

Allan pays more for his cams than you guys may think. There's not a huge markup on them when you consider the markup on FAST intakes(~ 250% - thats percent, not dollars).
