I'm looking at this for my first mod, but I would really, really like to keep my pipes going out the back. I'd pay another $200 for a setup that dumps in the stock location. What do you say, TSP?

Same question, I bought my TSP duals when only bullets were offered. Can i get just the mufflers to weld in my current setup?

also, are the mufflers 2.5" ID like someone else asked or are they a 3" version?

you can do it. The bullets that TSP offers are 3" thick 18" long and the sweet thunder chambered mufflers that everyone uses are 18" long as well and you can get them in 3" thickness, even though the internals of the mufflers are on 2.5". So you should just be able to swap mufflers.

I just purchased 2 18" long 3" diameter sweet thunder chambered mufflers from their site and they arrived in 2-3 days and were only $100 shipped.

I talked to TSP about a week ago and they said they were still waiting on the mufflers.

If someone offered true duals that dump in the stock location (over the rear axle and out the back) then hundreds of people would pay a measily $420 plus $200 more. The problem is there are very limited options for setups like that with most costing $1000 or more.

I offered another $200 because I knew that would be almost the exact amount of increase in materials alone to dump it out the back.

People are so Wal-martized that they don't understand the concept of negotiation anymore. It's not hard; offer low if you're buying, ask high if you're selling.

Truthfully, I'd have paid ~$900 for the set up without mufflers. But, I just talked to a local shop and they gave me a pretty good price and showed me a 3rd gen they did with true duals, so I'm going to give them a shot.

Hello, yea, if you can make this go out to the rear bumper, id be all for it. Help with drone, and i could still use my borla tips. I say you guys make a dump at axel kit and a full threw to bumper system. I am lowered so i like this how im hearing sweet thunders give good clearance. This includes an X-Pipe i assume? Can you please PM me a price of this true dual set up threw to the bumper if possible? Thank you

As far as sound goes, they are very LOUD, but the sound is amazing. Be prepared for a lot of rattles inside the car. I get compliments daily on my sound. I run an H-pipe, so somewhat deeper than the X-pipe. The sound is very old school, very deep and the only problem I have is my car sounds a lot more powerful than it really is. Going down the track, you can hear me like you're still next to me as I'm crossing the traps. I will be running out the back soon since I can't deal with the rattles inside. Drone is almost non-existent. Only time I get drone is at 70 MPH at 2100 RPM's. I just finished taking the car on a 2300 mile road trip and my ears were ringing at the end of each day. But a lot of unwary motorists gaped at me as I went by!!!
