This is a great deal but really belongs in the sponsor group purchase section and not here.

What would be a good Cam and Heads just so I can make this a great Daily Driver? I don't want something that lopes a lot

We are strictly custom engine builders. Since you are in Houston I would recommend G Force for the install. We do many engines for them and they always do an excellent job on the installation and tune. There prices are alos very competitive.

For your heads cam set up on a DD 408" you have a lot of options. The price is the biggest factor. You can make great power with a set of heads that have a nice port shape and flow 300+ cfm. This can be acheived many ways.

A nice cam that I like to use for applications such as yours is a 240 244@.050". Lobe sep determined by the rest of your combination. With this duration you can make plenty of power and enjoy the drivability for every day use.

Please give me a call and I can go into more detail on the most effective heads cam combination for you application.

Thank you,
Bryan neelen

Why is the LS2 402 so much more expensive than the iron block 408?

The cost difference is in the parts. The block is $500 more than the iron. The LS2 comes with custom pistons and rings due to the 4.004" bore. The LS2 also includes the LS2 timing set, timing cover, valley cover and lifter trays.

Thanks,
Bryan
