the components are good to 800+FWHP, how much hp you get has a whole lot to do the the heads and cam you go with.

I agree.
How much for everything minus the heads?
Can you do something similar in a 370?
Can you do a -xx piston for the boost guys?
Thanks

Default Shortblock

for the 347ci without the heads it would be $3699.99
we can do a dished piston for the same price as long as it is an off the shelf piston. Diamond has a -8.6cc boost piston that will put you at about 9.3:1 with a stock LS1 head

for a 370ci setup it would run just $200.00 more(not counting heads), we would use a -15cc piston and get you in the 9.4:1 compression range with a stock LS1 head

while it is not dead nutz accurate a liter has 61 cubic inches, so a 370/61=6.06

possibly interested in one of these motors with heads. but i am going solid roller. i have oil pump, timing set, and morel lifters already. i would need lifter bushings installed, and 1/2" head studs. as well as all solid roller valvetrain. and t&d rocker arms. can you work something up for that?

Possibly interested in this combo:

Forged 347
LS1 or LS6 5.7L Alum. Block
Stock Crank Polished and Magnafluxed
Callies LS1 Rods
Diamond Pistons 3.905 Flat Tops -2cc Valve Reliefs
Diamond Pro-Select Rings
Federal Mogul Main Bearings
Federal Mogul Rod Bearings
Clevite Cam Bearings
ARP Main Studs
Short block fully balanced, blueprinted and assembled

Price $2799.99 no core or core charge(plus shipping)

can you change it to boost friendly pistons? and will you be going to the BG event (north vs South)? I would be willing to pick it up there to save shipping.
