Not sure how long it holds it calibration - We have them in our cars for almost a year and it still reads perfect. To recalibrate all you do is push the button supplied with the LC1.
The blue is probably the easiest to read in sunlight but they all work well.

Dean,
what is the difference with DynoJet's Wide Band Commander and this one. will it give the same exact numbers. and how long will it last if i am using race fuel in my car.
the reason i am saying cause i am having hard time with my tuning

A little lengthy but I think it helps explain why Innovates technology is the best on the market.
The biggest difference is actually the (pat. pend.) measurement principle of the Innovate Wideband. It is different from all other widebands in that it does NOT use the pump current as AFR indication. Instead it uses the sensor to form with the Wideband circuit what's called a delta-sigma analog to digital converter. The difference is that the analog signal in this case is not a voltage or current, but directly the exhaust gas composition. This allows it to:
A: react extremely fast with no settling or overswing
B: be independent of electronic parts tolerances and drifts
C: compensate for sensor drift due to aging every time you do a free air calibration.
D: calibrate for the actual sensor characteristic independent of the factory calibration resistor, which is only correct when the sensor is new.
E: is much less susceptible to exhaust back pressure.
Another advantage of that measurement principle is automatic compensation for 'rich gas loading'. This is an effect most WB manufacturers do not compensate for or even know of. When a WB sensor is operating in a rich gas for a prolonged time (minutes), it's cells 'load up' and slowly drift, requiring more and more pump current. This will indicate richer and richer than it actually is. If the ECU is WB controlled in closed loop, the engine would actually run leaner and leaner to compensate.
The Innovates measurement principle is not susceptible to that.

Your gages are very nice, but I had already purchased an Autometer Ultra-Lite version to match all my other gages.
I know you have the LC-1 that can use the AM gages, but I was wondering if the display on the AM gage is as accurate (significant digits) as your gages?
I have never installed the AM so I have no idea what display looks like (unless of course it looks exactly as the one on your site). I knew it had the 'idiot' bars around the circumference, but didn't know it actually had a numeric display in the center.
TIA,
-Jay-

Thanks for the good words! The autometer gauge is just the lights around the circumfrence of the guage. There is no digital dispaly in the middle. When you buy our LC-1 for the AUtometer we give you a chart showing you what wideband equivelent each light stands for. Much, much better than the narrow band but not as good as a digital display accurate to .1. Hope this helps!

Thanx for the info. What got me confused is the display of the AM gage in action with the LC-1 on your site. It shows the lights around the circumference, but also shows a digital value that changes with the lights in the center of the gage. The AM site also states that it does have a digital display - how accurate it is - I didn't know.
If there truly is no digital display on the AM - then I definitely will be going with one of your gages!

skytower31,
You have a PM!
1QUIKWS6,
You cant go wrong when you go with one of our gauges. We just show the digital display in the middle to show you what the equivelent wideband reading is for each light. As our write up mentions you do not get this feature with the Autometer gauge.
