Are the heads listed for $1395 supposed to be stage III. If so, what is the port volume compared to the stage II for $1295? Is there any work done to the combustion chambers and if there is what are the combustion chamber sizes after the work?

Also, how long is the special going to last? I'll need my tax return in February to make my purchase

No, these heads are our stage II heads. The difference in the $1295 and $1395 is only unassembled and assembled. We do some hand work to the combustion chambers so they will remain at approx. 64cc.

We have many sets on hand. We will continue to supply these as another one of the cylinder head choices we give customers as long as the supply lasts.

I know the 845 cnc heads claim to be bare, but does that include stock steel valves? Or are they truly bare and the 5 angle valve job is on the seats only? I like the idea of them being bare without springs, but not so much the idea of them coming without any valves at all...

Was there a large surplus of 243 casting heads. That's two sponsors in a couple day's time period come out with some crazy pricing on ported 243 heads with large limited supply.

Im wondering if its got anything to do with Holden having to switch to the L92 engine Jan 1st due to emissions laws there, maybe they had planned to use the LS2? It seemed like a surprise last minute decision as the engine changed mid model only like 8 months before the next model VE was due out.

So out of the two sponsors currently offering good deals, witch one makes more sense to go with. I don't want to seem cheap or anything but if i can get the same ported head pkg form Livernois for lets say $200 less than Patriot is offering ill go with them. Im new to the ported head thing so you pros out there chime in. thanks

Hope your not serious...Actually my engine has an infinate angle valve job, before & after the angle that actually seats the valve

Bare head would mean no valves, no springs, just the heads. Patriot head I worked on was a nice piece, did some clean up and finishing work still.

I believe radius cut valves and seats are only beneficial on the exhaust, 5 angle cut valves and seats show better gains on the intake from what ive read. The radiused exhaust valves benefit from the radius carrying around the valve all the way to the bottom of the valve dish. This aids exhaust flow since it flows upward past the valve first then into the bowl and out the port. Please re-educate me if i'm incorrect in my understanding of this.
