Hey Scott,

Would you recommend me changing out the entire rear end in one swap or saving myself $1000 bucks and just change the center section to a 9"... considering I've got other plans with the money I have saved? I don't want to worry about breaking or screwing up any gears/pinion, and right now I have gear whine or something, that I hate, from my stock rear end. In about a year I'll be going from 420rwhp to about 600rwhp. H/C/I and then forged & F.I. to hit 600. she's a 6 speed, mostly street, but she'll go to the track about four times a year. Gear ratio somewhere between 3.70 & 4.11. Any recommendations for me? Thanks!

I have had cars run in the mid 10's on a stock case and yes a 31 or 33 spline spool is an option. Spools discount $150.00 off of the listed price.

Building a good 9 inch right no and breaking it in would be the first step in your build. I can assemble a package good for 700 hp and still be as streetable as your 10 bolt. If you are running an A4 then kep it tight say around 3.70 but if you have a M6 car then go 4.11 or 4.30 for a max effort motor combo.

Give Scott a call, but I'd guess that it's still the same or close to it. I got mine with a 35 spline locker and Moser housing/axle package so I'm not sure exactly how much for just the 3rd member. The whole shabang was $2.5k and change.

All prices are still good. As far as I know we are the only shop to offer 35 spline Detroit lockers in the Moser thru bolted cases.

Most likely until the end of the year. Prices usually change at the first of the year.
