Got 6 minutes? Gain 15+HP and MPG. Save $50 Several people have PM'd me asking how much of a gain they can expect with custom programming.
The answer is, generally speaking, on stock LS1s, 15-20HP. With bolt-ons that number goes up because bolt-ons can disturb the wide open throttle air fuel/ratio (especially ported or aftermarket MAFs). With more modifications, the gains could be even greater (I saw 16HP and 51LB-FT on my Impala SS after tuning it).
Custom programming can also improve fuel economy. Furthermore, we can adjust your fan on/off temps to keep your engine around the thermostat temperature in traffic (the factory purposely allows them to get hot in traffic).
