LS1TECH Rewards Program - August 2003

Re: LS1TECH Rewards Program - August 2003
I've taken a look at this site fairly often in the past year or so (and was registered under a different name, Tikigod Thunder, however didn't ever post), and one thing I can say is that there is a great deal of knowledge here on technical the technical aspects of our cars. Whenever I have a question about a particular mod, I have used the search feature and almost always found the answer I was looking for. Also, for the most part, people have appeared to be friendly and civil in the posts when people ask for help, which makes it so a new person would feel comfortable asking a question.
One thing that I do dislike here is the lack of a Pacific Northwest section... it's always good to have a central area for people of the same region to chat and network. I realize that there is a section for West Coast members, however, most of them are from California and not a lot from the Washington/Oregon/BC area.
Oh, and one more thing... I've never seen this place ever have a problem with being shut down for any extended periods of time!

I like the fact that ls1tech is no BS. It's simpley a hard core site for the ls1 enthusiast. I do wish they had the pop-up feature that gave you a preview of the thread when the mouse is over the title.

Whenever I have a question or problem with my car, I always get great advice and feedback from fellow LS1tech members and even LS1tech administrators

Only thing I dislike is that when you put the mouse over the post, a little window does not pop up to show you the contents of the post (i.e. LS1.com has it) but as for everything else this board kicks a$$, especially its knowledgable staff and members

LS1tech has literally saved me from going insane a number of times. I've found so much information on installs and have been helped numerous times by fellow members when something didn't go as planned.

I like the fact that the site has competent management and is always evolving. I hate how some members flame shops/vendors/innovators/magazine editors/whatever without thinking about how a little respect and courtesy can further our cause (namely getting bigger, better and faster).
