Our main phone lines are WORKING!!!!!!!!!!
I was thinking because you don't exactly plug a T1 into the back of a phone. It has the capability of being able to handle either 23 or 24 calls at once, most of the time it connects to a telephone system then the system splits everything up from there. You could also use half for data and half for voice to save some $$$.
How many phones do you have?

Joe, I think engineering lost the order for that 2nd T1 line. Or, maybe the PIE got sent to the wrong location.

Hey there Glenn, I'm in Boston, MA. Right now I work for Broadview Networks, I deal with SNet and Verizon all day man. I was a feild tech for 4.5 years, dis-liked my boss, put up with him for over a year, left and he got canned 2 weeks later
Now I have to wait until Jan 1st to get back into the feild. Those Verizon guys are lazy bums but I'll take a job there any day.
Paul, 1 T1 for voice? You guys handle some serious calls eh? Look at your telephone switch and tell me what name is on the front of it, maybe I can lend some telephone advice if you've got the right system and have problems in the future.

Joe, We have one T1 that is going to be a dedicated internet for our web servers. The 2nd T1 is integrated voice & data. We'll use the data part of that one for in-house internet stuff once they finish it up. In the mean time, we are using the dedicated internet T1 to have on-line access for our employees. Gee, a company that actually MAKES thier employees surf the internet

Angie
Great to meet you, Joe! I'm a C.O. guy for many years.
Angie, My employer(Gigantic Phone Co.) has installed DSL to every office including mine. They do their best to discourage it's use, though.
Go figure....
