Any chance you will have a deal on just a cam? I'm looking to do a custom grind.

BTW - I would be a repeat customer, I bought your TR224 cam package and more goodies last fall...

Jason,
How would the 224/112 work with stock 3.42's? Would the 114 lsa be better? Thanks bud!

John, the 112lsa would be the way to go with 3.42s since the midrange should be slighly stronger, in theory. There is honestly very little difference between a 112lsa and a 114lsa, all other things being equal.

I just need a cam. Don't need springs or pushrods. What can you do for me?

Jason,

You never answer my question...

Any chance you could do a deal on a custom cam only purchase?

Given the mods on my car what cam would be best? I don't plan on adding any other mods in the near future besides an LS6 intake.

Sorry about that. School just started back up and I haven't had time to check my mail/PMs until today.

The TR230 would work well, even with your planned nitrous use. A friend of mine is spraying a 150hp TNT kit on his car with stage 1 heads and this cam and he is making well over 550rwhp on the spray with a 6-speed. The car dynoed low 400s on motor.

Bill, I don't have any say in regards to pricing. You would have to talk with either Angie or Paul on this. I don't work in sales. Sorry.....

TR224/112 will work very well in your car. This is our most popular cam and most of them are running very similar mods to you. If you have any emissions concerns, order it on a 114, or step down to the TR220. Both will yield excellent results.

Due to popular request, we have decided to add a "cam only" option to the cam sale. The price for the cam only will be $389.99, plus $10 shipping. If you want to order, you can give us a call at 877-516-7223.

Thanks!
Angie

Crane 144832 Dual Valve Springs
Crane 144661 Titanium Retainers
Crane 144460 hardened seats
LS1 Valve Stem Seals
$739

For those people looking for a double spring, we have been using the new Crane 144832 springs with great results and have tested them up to .650 lift with no problems.
Are you able to use the heads without modifying the factory spring pockets for these double springs? I've got a MTI C2 (ready to install) but I'm not fond of a single spring for reliability aspects.

Joey, the Cranes fit in the stock spring pocket with no modifications needed.
